An extraordinary 17^th century, hand-carved, solid Carrara marble figure fragment on raised base of the same. The subject is swaddled in a luxurious, gathered robe and tunic and features the remains of long, cascading tendrils of hair. There are remains of a bird and a book at her feet.  With restorations.
